Blog feedback and Learner Response

WWW: It’s great that your blog is set up and you have some work posted already. Your fruit bowl is superb – you’ve got a fantastic eye for design. This clearly demonstrates your potential in technical and creative skills so the challenge now is to match that with our written media analysis.

EBI: Plagiarism. This means copying work that is not your own – if you do this for coursework you are disqualified from the GCSE and if you do this at university you get thrown out and lose your tuition fees. Your denotation and connotation work is the same as Saros’s so we will need to investigate this further.

Two other areas to develop. Firstly, the depth and detail of your written work – in the denotation and connotation work you want your analysis paragraph to be the most detailed paragraph. Think about what effect the product is having on the audience.

For your fruit bowl, you needed to write a couple of sentences to go with it – what colour palette did you use? What effect were you trying to create?

LR: Create a new blogpost on your Media blog called ‘Blog feedback and Learner Response’. Copy and paste this WWW/EBI feedback into your blogpost then complete the LR tasks/questions below.

Reflect on your first month of Media. What do you feel is your strongest piece of work so far? What is your weakest? What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course?

i feel that my strongest piece of work is fruit bowl thing where we coloured .

i feel that my weakest is denotation and conotation as I found it hard to write a lot.

I need to develop on my denotation and conotation on adverts and images.
